The Beatles: Probably The Most Innovative Band In History

To say that Paul and John are two of the very best singers in rock and roll is to express the obvious.

A lot of other musicians besides me recognize Paul as becoming one of the best bass guitar players ever. George is underrated as a lead guitarist by folks with average or below average musical expertise or capacity, but most guitarists (which includes Eric Clapton know better.
John and Paul are also excellent guitarists and both recorded excellent leads as well as innovative rhythm tracks.
Ringo invented a new style of slow drum playing, epitomized on A day in the Life as well as Strawberry Fields Forever.
